Description
Numerous CDTA Bus Stops have just barely been cleared of snow or not at all. Same goes with Handicap Sidewalk Curb Cuts. The property owners in this city are responsible for making sure all sidewalks in front, on sides or in rear of their properties are free from debris and snow. Not everyone walks through the city wearing boots. Also uncleared or minmally cleared sidewalks are not considered handicap accesible therefore wheelchairs can not use them. It does not matter if the property or building is vacant. Law requires property owners to keep these areas clear and safe. If they don't do it then the City should fine them and have DPW clear it then bill the property owners. If you are to cheap to buy a shovel you deserve a bill from the City. If you physically can't clear the way then get someone to do it for you.
